Celebrate the First Official Week of the Summer With Sidewalk Chalk!

Sidewalk chalk is fun and economical when you just need to get outside and enjoy some fresh air. Here are some ideas to incorporate your child's speech and language goals while playing with sidewalk chalk: Articulation Practice Idea: Write target words on the ground to practice your child's sounds. Direction Practice Idea: Draw a series of shapes on the ground and have your child follow directions using the shapes (stand in the circle and clap your hands, sit in the square and close your eyes, etc.). Basic Concept Practice Idea: Draw and identify basic concepts such as big/little and in/out. The options are endless!
